To meet the demands of healthcare, manufacturing and technology industries, our largest campus needs significant updates. This is an extraordinary opportunity to bring our Health Sciences and Nursing Schools closer to more opportunities, while improving our campus for all students. As we strive to create facilities modeled after modern workplaces, Ivy Tech Indy Reimagined allows us to create the learning experience and environment our students deserve.
First impressions are important. Students need to know where to enter and where to go to get assistance. By designing a welcoming single main entrance with designed landmarks and co-locating central services in one area, students will be better positioned to start and continue their college journey.
Divesting from the Lawrence and NIC buildings allows us to reduce duplicative services and upgrade learning spaces for our students and staff. By renovating classrooms and improving our overall space utilization, we will be equipped to better serve our students, staff
and community.
Ivy Tech Reimagined for the Future helps fulfill our mission to serve the workforce. By centralizing students in the downtown campus, students are closer to employer partners, internships and clinical opportunities.
